The main goal of the SHM programme is to develop monitoring systems and tools, designing specific methodologies and techniques as well as the algorithms and software tools necessary to extract, evaluate and present information on the structural health of transportation or energy systems. To achieve this objective, several lines of research have been developed since 2018. At the moment, the “SHM Prototyping” project stands out among our active projects, which aims to achieve a functional prototype that allows for the application of new methodologies and techniques for inspecting and monitoring structures.
This project has been co-financed by the Community of Madrid and the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) with the aim of promoting technological development, innovation and research.
Colaboration with Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
