Information Systems Analysis program prepares students for a wide range of employment opportunities in Internetwork technologies, computer systems integration and operating systems administration.

Training for positions encompassing all aspects of local and wide area network design and implementation is emphasized. The primary focus of this program is to provide an integrated set of skills which will allow the graduates to more easily enter the new technical job market which emphasizes integrated systems for voice, video, and data.


Major elements of this course include: analysis of systems hardware and software: networking fundamentals; network operating systems; network security; wireless LANs; voice, video, and data integration.

 

Preparation for industry standardized certifications in CompTIA Network+, A+, and Security+, Microsoft Windows Vista and 2003 Server, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a major focus in the AAS degree program. Higher levels of industry certification are available as elective components of the BAS and BAT degree programs.
