David has been working for the Technical and Industrial Technologies Division since 1992. This year, he began work as an Associate Professor in the Information Systems Analysis program. He has an A.B. in Physics with a minor in mathematics from Central College in Fayette, Missouri, an M.S. in Operations Research from the Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey, California and a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho. In addition to a 22 year Navy background, he has worked as an independent software developer. David is a Certified Novell Engineer, Certified Novell Instructor, and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, as well as holding CompTIA certifications in Linux+, A+, Network+, and Security+ He holds an EIT (Engineer in Training) license from the State of Idaho and an Advanced Occupational Specialist Certificate (Electronic Technology, Network Support Technician) teaching certificate.
