ISATI 107 - Intro to
C++ Programming with UML (5 cr.)
As the
Information Systems Analysis discipline has evolved over the past several years,
high-level language programming has become a required skill. This course in
programming prepares the student to gain a functional use of the techniques
required for generating 'C' and 'C++' code. The use of functions, arrays,
pointers, structs, classes, abstract data types, recursion, and UML is
emphasized. This course includes a consideration of basic programming techniques
including use of functions, operators, expressions, statements, program flow
control, arithmetic operators, data input and output operations, arrays,
pointers, and strings. UML is introduced. Students will be required to write C++
programs which emphasize the various programming techniques introduced.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of ISATI 104.
